I’ve been communicating lately to a relative and we talked most of the time about our kids and their school. Turns out that our kids have so many things in common and we both instill the same discipline to our kids. The difference is she’s working while I am a stay at home mom. Her role as a parent is also challenging and she tried her best to juggle her time from work and her time for her kid.
I am not saying here that mine is not challenging as it’s never easy as a SAHM. You do all things for your kids and for your family without expecting anything. But what I’m trying to say here is that we have common denominator and I admire people who are not only hardworking but takes time to be with their kids. I’ve witnessed a lot of parents who just depend their kids to their nanny and thought that by giving them material things will compensate the lost time spent with their kids. But why should I care anyway? Haha. As if they need me in their lives. Let me just share in here my admiration for all mommies out there who dedicate their time and effort in raising their children.
